Terra Bruciata eng
Nicola and I wanted to create Scorched Earth, to leave our mark everywhere. With this spirit were born the 9 songs that make up the album Terra bruciata, which are undoubtedly part of my—and perhaps even “our”—restlessness, once again preserved through music. The album includes songs like Caligola, whose video was shot entirely at night in the under-construction metro tunnel in Turin, transformed into a circus; Patì, which triumphed at the Biella Festival 2008; Jonathan Livingston, inspired by Richard Bach’s best-selling book Jonathan Livingston Seagull; Mirabilandia; etc. Terra bruciata also marked the end of a beautiful and historic artistic collaboration with Nicola B. and with the Perenne Symposio, the band we founded together. The album was recorded in 2008 and mixed ten years later thanks to the meticulous restoration work of guitarist and producer Christian Coccia, who also played the final solo in Polvere perenne. To him goes a special thanks, as well as to Daniela Magnaguagno, who created the album cover for us. An album from the past that Nicola and I care deeply about. Nothing has been lost—so the entire album, finally released, can now be listened to on Spotify and the main digital stores.
