About Me
“I truly wouldn’t know how to describe myself; perhaps the best way is simply to listen to my music.
I am a self-taught, multi-instrumental musician; without an academic background, I learned through immersion: music itself has been my true teacher. My influences range from rock and blues to folk, classical, soundtracks, ethnic and Celtic music, all the way to Gregorian chant — elements that coexist and intertwine into a personal language.
Here new projects come to life. As Nicostrauss, I explore cinematic and orchestral landscapes where melancholy and power coexist; with Hesychasmos, I delve into a meditative dimension that dialogues with ancient chant and choral harmonies.
I compose out of necessity: restlessness is the engine, research is the direction. My music never finds peace, and it is precisely there — in the tension between silence and sound — that it seeks to say something true.”
